The Seoul and Busan churches of Christ are seeking one year challengers to help us build vibrant and strong young professionals and campus ministries.

We are seeking brothers and sisters who are self-motivated and have a heart for the mission to help us make disciples of young professionals in Seoul and support the campus and teen ministry. In order to qualify (due to visa restrictions) you will need to be a University graduate from one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

 

We need applicants who are willing to be self-supporting, usually through teaching English. Teaching jobs are readily available here, and we will help you with the process of applying for jobs and visas before you arrive.

Seoul and Busan are easy to live and work in, with affordable and efficient transportation. Teachers make good wages, and housing is provided and paid for by schools, so you won’t pay rent. Medical insurance is usually paid for in part by your school and in part from your wages. So, you will have access to fast and reasonably-priced medical help.

Once here, the lead Evangelist couples will train you and you will also be supported by current International ministry leaders.
 

Don’t speak Korean? Not to worry! Many people in Korea speak English and would happily practice with a native speaker. Furthermore, basic Korean is fairly easy to master.
