Crossway Church, Tallahassee, FL
Crossway Church is a church of around 200 members located in Tallahassee, Florida. There is a wide range of ages within the church and a campus ministry working with students at Florida State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and Tallahassee Community College.
We have a campus ministry led by Mitchell Lavender. Our ministry has around 20 disciples. They are involved in evangelism on campus and leading Bible talks. Our campus ministry is growing and we need disciples who are interested in reaching out to more students, studying the Bible and helping them to grow as disciples.
We are also interested in someone who desires to work with young professionals and help to develop this ministry. We will work with applicants on developing their leadership skills and increasing their ability with evangelistic outreach. We have both men and women involved in being trained for full time ministry.
Volunteers will be trained in leading Bible talks, mentoring campus students and evangelism. Volunteers will likely also have opportunities for speaking at communion, midweek services and church retreats.
